The Flying Machines

The unmanned aerial vehicles or ‘UAVs’ are taking over defense operations. While on one hand they are being used for international combats, they are also being considered for cargo transportation. These deadly aero-vehicles are not only functionally destructive, but they have been strategically named to accentuate the impression of fear. There is a Reaper and a Predator, all manufactured with great precision and expertise to ‘rip off the targeted prey’ they have brought an increased level of efficiency and convenience to the military troops, over and above the obvious gift of safety.

With so much versatility, it’s no wonder that the UAVs now grace the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum. They vary in shapes, sizes and intensities of impact. The defense officials may be proud of their achievement - With the UAVs the world now seems a little bit more protected….but is that really so???? The truth however is that such advanced and hi-tech appliances and defense equipments remain concentrated in the hands of the developed nations. The result being that the ones on the other side are constantly under threat and consistently exploited in this regard. The world continues to be lopsided and gets even more ill- balanced with the addition of the ‘flying machines of unequal power’
